Kids of the King Parties is ran by Misty Burns. Misty is a foster parent and see's first hand the effects it can take on a child when they feel forgotten or that their parents can't celebrate their birthday. Parent's tend to miss visits because they don't want to show up with nothing for the child, and it's not because they didn't want to, finances are usually tough. This then creates animosity in the child and Misty wants to help bridge this gap. Birthday parties are also directed to children in group homes where there isn't much of a celebration usually. Children are close to her heart. God gave her this vision to carry out and Misty's goal is to do just that. She can't take in all of the foster kids like she would like to, and this is another way for her to help the foster community.
